Description

A wooden off-cut from the structure built for Alex Da Corte’s video installation ROY G BIV (2022) included in A Little After This. The artwork necessitated that a professional house painter, dressed in white overalls, engage in a durational and occasional performance, painting the structure a different colour every few weeks throughout the run of the exhibition. Later refiguring the structure to be reused as a sound booth in WORK, an off-cut was lightly sanded to reveal the many layers of paint accumulated.
