A4 Store is at this year’s edition of Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair, the largest international gathering for the distribution of artists’ books and independent publications. Convened at MoMA PS1, NYABF 2026 coincides with the 50th anniversaries of both organisations and celebrates their artist-led approaches to sharing creative processes and practices. In this spirit, the Store’s contribution spotlights books and zines produced by A4 and our team with a particular focus on making arts research and experimentation visible. 

The event marks both the North American debut of Sean O’Toole’s Photo book! Photo-book! Photobook! (2026) and the launch of Cameron Platter’s My Work Here Is Done (forthcoming), the sixth in A4’s series of artists’ zines. Also included are Moshekwa Langa's zine (2025) from the same series and Igshaan Adams' embellished artists' book, Tapyt (2024). Together, these reflect the foundation’s engagement with publishing as an extension of artistic and curatorial work: a means to gather, test, and circulate ideas beyond the exhibition space or studio.
